Sometimes. A higher kW shower may need a thicker cable and a new protective device. We will check your circuit first, and any upgrade is quoted before work starts.
Usually 2 hours. Most replacements are done in a single visit, so you can use your shower the same day.
Water that won’t stay hot, weak flow, the shower tripping the fuse box, leaks from the unit, or a burning smell. If you notice a burning smell or scorch marks, stop using it, switch off at the isolator, and call 0115 778 0622.
Yes. Current wiring regulations require RCD protection for circuits in bathrooms. If yours doesn’t have it, we’ll tell you and quote before any work starts.
Yes. You get a Minor Works certificate confirming the circuit has been tested and is safe. Landlords should keep it with their property records.
Yes, connecting the new shower to your existing water supply is included. Moving the pipework or the shower position is quoted separately.
Yes. Changes and cancellations are free up to 48 hours before your appointment, with a full refund. Within 48 hours, a minimum charge of £35 applies.
